To add an extra dimension to the conference this year, we decided to have Rachael Cooke live doodle the keynote sessions. The reaction from people in the room and on the live stream showed what a great decision it was to do this.
Grainne Conole: Learning journeys and learner voices – promoting innovative pedagogies through new technologies.
Catherine Cronin: Creating Spaces for Student Voices
Martha Rotter : Empowering Student Voices through Innovation
Rachael also doodled impressions of the conference …
… the Youth Media Team’s capstone session …
… and her final doodle of Pam Moran and Ira Socol’s thoughts

I loved the live doodling at the conference – another different perspective on the story the speaker was telling. We could listen with eyes as well as ears. Thanks Rachel.

Delighted you enjoyed the live doodling Mags. It definitely added another dimension to the keynotes and the conference in general. We’re even more delighted as Rachael is a graduate of LIT 🙂

Rachael’s work brought another dimension to the conference and I think she made the day more accessible for listeners who watched her interpretation of the presentations.
