Now that the dust has settled on the ICT in Education conference, I’d like to thank all of you who came together to make the conference such a vibrant, collegial and friendly event. One of the main aims of the conference, is to provide a space for educators across the sector to share ideas around the integration of technology in education. It seemed to me that this aim was definitely achieved in Thurles last Saturday.
To our plenary session speakers: Minister of State Ciaran Cannon, Maria Hinfelaar, Grainne Conole, Catherine Cronin and Martha Rotter – thank you for your inspiring presentations.
To our Youth Media Team and their mentors Conor Galvin, Joe Dale and Bernie Goldbach – thank you for your energy and enthusiasm and for stealing the show! 🙂
To Rachael Cooke, our doodler extraordinaire – thank you for adding another dimension to the conference this year (thanks also to Bernie Goldbach for coming up with the idea).

To CESI – thank you for your ongoing support of the conference. The addition of a CESI Meet on the eve of the conference a few years ago has been a great success and we look forward to continuing with the CESI Meet over the coming years.

Talk has already turned to the 10th ICT in Education conference. I’m looking forward to welcoming you all back to Thurles in May 2014 to celebrate this milestone.
